Since my kids are musical, I enjoy documenting their activities with my camera.  What began with marching band and violin classes has expanded in many directions.

I now keep quite busy photographing marching band and winter drum-line competitions.  I'm a regular photographer for Jolesch, the nation's premier school and band event photographer, and Bateman, tops in winter drum-line festivals.  Besides working in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, the St. Louis Dome, and at the BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis's new Lucas Oil Field, I’ve also photographed DCI World Finals for clients such as Yamaha and Pearl.  The goal?  To try to get a shot of every student marching in these memorable events.  At times that means 135 bands and 20,000 images over a 3 day weekend!
